I’m going to put Sahmmy.com on hiatus. not this blog, but the website.

Truth: 

• what i wanted out of sahmmy.com i have discovered in Tumblr and without the headaches
• my favorite, original bloggers have taken breaks to write books, screen plays, start blogs, etc. i miss reading their stuff but glad, in some cases, i inspired them to start writing by asking them to write for me.
• if i want to pay people, i have to accept advertisers and i think that is anathema to why i started this pirate parent magazine in the first place 
• when things are no longer pure fun, i know it’s time to walk away. 

but, one of my favorites, and our most popular blogger, Beth Navarro, will still be bloggin’ under the Mother Naked moniker. she can now be found here Mother Naked

i feel very lucky that i took a strange idea and made it into something. like most things, i had no idea what i was doing, hell i still don’t understand HTML, but like most things, that didn’t stop me. 

this magazine helped me transition into being a SAHM and find who i am and what kind of mom i want to be. yet, still a work in progress.
