and so it begins.. Tonight is the first night CD wears her “Thumbbuster” to help stop her 5 year habit. If you count watching her suck her thumb in my womb, 5 years and 4 months.  As I tucked her in I talked about how brave she was and that I knew she could do this. I could feel in that moment we both were getting a bit emotional so I kissed her and started to get up.  “I have no idea why my eyes are getting watery,” she said.  “It’s probably the fan,” I said.  (Gotta help the brave girl save face.)
