Tuesday’s Truth: Mother Nature is a Cruel Bitch

after a narrowly escaping a wasp attack, that i just happened to witness thus saving his life, Liam Neeson is now in the safe cage and by tonight he will be a chrysalis.

M.C. Bat Commander made it to chrysalis yesterday morning (see upper right corner) and should be a butterfly within 2 weeks.

but that wasp bullshit. i found a pic online that was EXACTLY what went down. the wasp injects its egg into the caterpillar and then the egg grows, eats it from the inside out and then hatches Alien-style out of the larvae. I can’t handle this shit. first the birds picking them off, now this? I don’t have the nerves to grow dill again and go through this. now Hubby just discovered we have a baby bunny living among the wildflowers. great. let’s try to keep him from being murdered by the dogs. CD got a special day since her sis is at a sleepover. Nails done then she bought the flowered dress with her birthday money after trying on 20 (some just for fun). 34.00 on sale for 13.80. (i’m so proud- lol) she says she feels like a “high school woman”.

reading comprehension is very important. like when i read on the dill seed packet that it “attracts black swallowtail butterflies”, i thought it meant they would fly around, hang out. soo cool! right?

-CD had her first zit inside her nose. I had no good explanation for why this happens

-just like last year when a bird got in my house and shit all over right before CDs party, our dog, Crazy Ass took a dump in her bedroom. i would like to take these as good omens.

-today the vet described Crazy Ass’s weight gain as similar to a “middle aged woman with a thyroid problem”. and then gave me a smug look. it showed considerable restraint on my part not to deck him.

CD has post-party-om depression. she didn’t want to go to school today. she had the ‘bestest time ever’ on saturday and yesterday played with the gifts her gal pals gave her.

Rafael, as you an see, participated as much as possible for a girl who just isn’t into this stuff. Luckily she had her BFF as a guest who is just like her and they got through it together.

I was so thrilled that the 1.00 garage sale dress worked so well for CD. I made some adjustments and cut away a few unnecessary bling. It was pretty fucking precious.

Best part was the dance party at the end. Hubby and Papa had tears in their eyes giggling to the girls singing ‘call me maybe’ and doing a routine.
